主要研究兴趣是无机材料的合成、制备、加工、结构、输运性质及其内在相互关系，面向能源和环境应用的关键材料和过程技术。目前的研究工作包括材料的缺陷结构与物理化学性能关系，中高温致密陶瓷氧分离膜材料和天然气制合成气膜反应器。
