主要研究领域、方向：
1、太阳电池及化学电源；
2、非水溶液电化学；
3、离子液体的合成及应用；
4、水处理剂；
研究成果（代表性成果）：
1、paa树脂的合成及以paa—fn为粘结剂的co2自硬砂工艺（国家科技成果）；
2、锂变性膨润土的开发和研究（安徽省重大科技成果）；
3、染料敏化纳米薄膜光伏电池（中科院科技成果）；
4、铝板表面印花工艺。
目前承担研项目:
低价长寿新型光伏电池的基础研究，国家重点基础研究发展规划（973）项目，2002-2005
获奖情况：
净水剂聚合氯化铝 机械工业部教育司科学技术进步一等奖
