学历与工作简历
1983年毕业于青岛海洋大学海洋地质系，1993年获青岛海洋大学理学硕士学位，1998年获青岛海洋大学理学博士学位。1983-2000年于青岛海洋地质研究所工作，1994年被原地矿部破格晋升为副研究员，1997年被破格晋升为研究员。2000年11月起任青岛海洋大学教授，博士生导师。
从事研究工作方向
河口海岸和陆架海环境地质和工程环境

1983-1986年参加中国海岸带调查工作
1986-1990年主持黄河口疏浚工程海域输沙环境调查
1990-1995年参加冀东油田工程环境调查
1996-2000年主持126专项课题
2000年调入中国海洋大学，任教授、博导、河口海岸带研究所所长。
在研项目
（1） 中国海洋石油工程股份有限公司项目—海南东方1-1气田海底管线后调查研究（负责人之一），2002-2004，完成。
（2）973计划《中国典型河口－近海陆海相互作用及其环境效应》—主持三角洲海岸侵蚀与岸坡失稳灾害的防护对策课题，2003-2006，进行中。
（3）青岛市政府——青岛海洋功能区划项目，主持海洋地质环境与遥感处理课题，2003-2004，进行中。
